I had read about this place in the Harrisburg Patriot News & had been wanting to come. There is only street parking, however I arrived shortly before the bank closed, so parked in the bank lot right across the street. There is indoor seating & a deck outside. The young man who served me was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. I was really impressed. The servings are large & filling. The young man who took my order recommended the French fries & they are amazing! I want to return & try more menu items. They also have swag, and other food products. I also like that is kind of a small town, local business.
Fun place!! You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table! Lots of good choices for appetizers! The sandwiches are good! I had the Mechanicsburg Burger and I highly recommend it! BYOB so bring your favorite bottle along!
This place is absolutely phenomenal. A coworker did some sleuthing around the mechanicsburg area for new places and mentioned going. Few weeks later we are ordering the Meatloaf Smash. It is what you wish your grandmas meatloaf is. I travel monthly to Dallas TX and this sandwich tastes like something you would get from Pecan Lodge. Absolutely amazing thank you
I have wanted to try this place for so long and when I heard they were closing I had to run out and try it at least once. I got their flagship burger, the Mechanicsburger ($16.95). It is made with 21 day dry aged beef ground with their house bacon and has a fried tomato, red onion, and garlic aioli. It was a really good, the burger itself was super flavorful and the fried tomato and garlic aioli just put it over the top. Definitely one of the better burgers I've had in the area. Then instead of going the usual side of chips I substituted a side of the Smoke & Pickles Fries ($4.95) with pulled pork. The pulled pork was very tender, the only complaint I have are that the fries were cold. The pulled pork was the only thing that added any warmth to it. Ryan had The Smoker ($17.55) which was their pulled pork sandwich and he said that it was really good! He got the side of chips and I have to applaud them, I usually hate homemade chips because they are too thick but these were nice and thin and crispy and salted properly, definitely the best homemade chip I've had from a restaurant. If you have a chance to check this place out before they close on Sunday November 20th please do! They will be missed!
